Edith Mawuena Kukekpor
EDITH MAWUENA – means ‘God’s gift’. Edith is a single mother living with her grandfather in the village. She earned a scholarship to attend dressmaking at Atorkor Vocational Training Institute so she could provide for her son, DoWell. She achieved well at AVTI and soon realised she could own her own business. So, she now has opened a business sewing designs for the community. Edith has a lively sense of humour, and joyful laughter surrounds her. She is an encouraging and strong team member often assisting others. She has a keen colour sense and warm and ready smile. Her initial dream was to further her education but now with her current training she intends to be her own boss!
